14th Match (Men Section) Indian Oil Mumbai defeated Indian Navy Mumbai by 4-1.



34th Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament-2017 ONGC Delhi beat Punjab National Bank Delhi by 6-0 Indian Oil beat Indian Navy by 4-1 Western Railways Mumbai beat UCO Bank by 5-1 Haryana beat North Central Railways by 8-4 Jalandhar October 26, 2017 Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Delhi (ONGC) beat Holders Punjab National Bank Delhi by 6-0 in their first league fixture in the 34th Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament’s men section at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium here today. In other match of men section Indian Oil Mumbai beat Indian Navy by 4-1 to earn three points. In women section Haryana XI beat North Central Railways by 8-4, but with this win they are not able to qualify for the finals. Whereas with four points RCF Kapurthala entered the finals, Haryana with three points on second spot and NCR on third spot with One point in the Pool B. In second match in Women section Western Railways Mumbai beat UCO Bank by 5-1. In Women section in Pool B Haryana XI beat North Central Railways Illahabad by 8-4.Haryana girls took early lead in 2nd minute when Ritu converted the penalty corner (1-0). In 13th minute Amrinder Kaur, in 17th minute Ritu, in 24th minute Amrinder Kaur scored for Haryana (4-0). In 27th minute NCR’s Nisha scored field goal (1-4). At half time Haryana was leading by 4-1. After half time in 40th minute NCR’s Anu bala reduced the margin (2-4). In 49th minute and 57th minute Amrinder Kaur scored for Haryana (6-2). In 58th minute Anu bala for MCR scored field goal (3-6). In 63rd minute NCR’s Anjali Gautam scored (4-6). In 65th minute Amrinder and in 67th minute Amandeep Kaur scored for Haryana to complete the score sheet (8-4). With this win Haryana earned three points but not able to qualify for Finals as they have lost their first match to Haryana by 4-0. From Pool A Rail Coach Factory qualify for the finals with 4 points from two league matches. In Women section second match of the day in Pool A Western Railways Mumbai took lead in the 19th minute, their Manjit Kaur sounded the board from penalty corner conversion (1-0). In 23rd minute equalizer comes from the stick of Nutan Toppo of UCO Bank (1-1). In 25th minute Pinky T and in 26th minute Anupa barla scored two goals in a row to took lead (3-1). At half time Western Railways was leading by 3-1. After break Western Reailways Karishma Yadav in 40th minute and Anupa Barla in 49th minute scored the goals (5-1). With this win Western Railways earned six points from two matches. In men section in Pool A Oil & Natural Gas Corp. took early lead against Punjab National Bank when International star Mandeep Singh netted the ball in the 13th minute of the play (1-0). In the 25th minute ONGC’s Sumit Kumar scored from right flank (2-0). At half time ONGC was leading by 2-0. After changing ends In 39th minute ONGC’s Mandeep Singh scored from penalty corner (3-0). In 44th minute Jagwant Singh and in 47th minute Ajay Yadav scored for ONGC (5-0). In 51st minute Bank’s goalkeeper wrongly tackled Mandeep Singh of ONGC in front of the goal mouth, Referee awarded Penalty stroke to ONGC, their Harpal Singh made no mistake to convert it (6-0). With this win ONGC earned three points. In Pool C Indian Oil took lead against Indian Navy in the 21st minute of the play when their International player Affan Yusuf scored the field goal (1-0). In the 32nd minute of play Affan Yusuf once again struck from right flank (2-0). After lemon break in 47th minute Indian Navy’s Jugraj Singh sounded the board from penalty corner conversion (1-2). In the 59th minute Indian Oil’s Olympian Raghu Nath converted penalty corner (3-1).
